About Me

Chicago is my hometown, but I have lived in Tuscaloosa for 34 years.

I began working at Holy Spirit Catholic School in 1994. I teach elementary art (K-6), I oversee Middle School Art (7 & 8) with Diane Norris as the teacher, Art I (Junior & Senior), and Photography (Junior & Senior), Independent Studies (Seniors).

I have three children who are Holy Spirit graduates: Jessica in 2005, (University of Alabama graduate in 2009), Zachary in 2007 and Hannah in 2009 who both currently attend college.

In addition to teaching, I also help sponsor the Fine Arts Booster Club.

Our school is a member of Artsonia.com , the largest online student art museum. Artsonia showcases artwork from thousands of schools around the world. Arsonia's goals are to develop students' pride and self-esteem, increase their multicultural understanding through art and involve parents and relatives in student education and accomplishments.

As a security feature, Artsonia requires the parent to pre-approve all comments before they are posted on the website. This is one of the many examples of how important your child's safety and privacy are to Artsonia. To register online please follow the instruction by clicking here and click on the word "parents" at the top.
